Panagiotis Grigoriou is a full Professor in European Integration at the University of the Aegean (since 2001, member of the academic staff of this University). Holder of European Chair Jean Monnet (2002-2009) and European Chair Jean Monnet ad personam (2010-2013). Director of the Master’s Programme «European Integration and European Societies» during the period 2008-2011. Since 2013, coordinator for the European Module Jean Monnet “European Citizenship and Fundamental Rights” and since 2015, coordinator for the European Module Jean Monnet “European Economic and Social Cohesion Issues”.
Founder and coordinator of the International Summer School on European Governance, organised by the University of the Aegean in Lesbos Island (Greece) since 2013. During the period 2013-2014, President of the Board of Directors of the ECSA-Greece, for the period 2015-2016 Vice- President and for the period 2004-2007 member, the period 2007-2010 treasurer and the period 2010-2013 General Secretary. During the period 2008-2013, member of the EMUNI’s (Euromediterranean University) Senate. During the period 2010-2013, evaluator for the programme Erasmus Mundus. Since September 2014, he is Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of the Aegean). Since 2013, he is responsible for the International Summer School organised in Lesbos Island on the topic “European Governance: A new government art”.
